While working with Overseer and using additional applications, like Overseer Pass, Overseer Libra simultaneous usage of both applications is needed. The most convenient location mode for application windows is dual monitor mode.
In this document dual-monitor mode setting up manual is presented.
Dual-monitor mode setting up
To set up one of Overseer application displaying on a specified monitor , user should perform the following steps:
1. Determine coordinates for application window location
This requires:
- Open window properties (right mouse click on a desktop and select “Screen Resolution” option in contextual menu);
- Mouse over required monitor number. Fix coordinates, that characterize monitor size (for example, monitor coordinates or size can be written in the following format: 0,0:1280,1024 or -1280,-768:0,0);
- Close window properties.
2. Application window location on monitor set up
This requires:
- Right mouse click on Overseer programme shortcut;
- Select “Properties”;
- Open “Shortcut" tab;
- Mouse over text box "Target" and move cursor to the end of the line;
- In the end of the line add text of the following form: /geom(0,0,1024,768) , where (0,0,1024,768) denotes Overseer program window size in desktop coordinates. In the function of coordinates meanings paste coordinates of one of the monitors, that is supposed to display program window, identified in Determine coordinates for application window location Section;
- Click "Apply" and close the window.
The result of performing these instructions will be displaying of Overseer application window on the chosen monitor.
